Section 32
Approval should be obtained when opening an account in a foreign bank

(1) Any officer or employee working in the service of the Government of Nepal should take the prior approval of the Government of Nepal in order to open an account in a bank located abroad in other cases than as specified.
(2) In case of opening an account in a foreign bank, the procedure for obtaining the pre-approval of the Government of Nepal shall be as prescribed.
