Rule 67
Quality and method of use of electrical equipment
Permit holders must comply with the following points from the point of view of the quality and safety of electrical equipment used in power generation, transmission and distribution:-
(a) Good quality equipment and materials should be used,
(b) When operating a new establishment or repairing and re-operating an existing establishment, all tests to be done from a technical point of view should be carried out only if found to be correct,
(c) The electrical wires to be used for the work should be of suitable capacity for the work,
(D) Connection of electrical wires should be done in a way that does not cause danger in accordance with valid technical standards,
(e) Joint boxes, metallic conduit joints and metallic sheath joints of underground wires should be connected in such a way that they can be easily inspected at the time of need,
(f) Fuses or circuit breakers or other suitable devices to stop the flow of electric current in the circuit or sub-circuit (sub-circuit) if the current exceeds the specified current so as not to cause damage to such circuit or sub-circuit. Should be connected. Such devices should not overheat, spark, and be dangerous when changing,
(g) Single phase switch should not be installed on neutral wire except on live wire.
