: A person or an organization wishing to distribute electricity should open three copies of the application form before the Director-General with the following details related to the proposed electricity distribution project in the format as per schedule-8:-
(a) Detailed description of the project (in which the source of electricity to be distributed, the estimated time required to complete the project, the cost, the names of the project participants and the type of their involvement, the person who has the ultimate ownership in the project or the organized organization and the names and surnames of the directors of such organizations should be clearly disclosed. (B) Feasibility analysis, (technical details and economic analysis of the project, estimated amount of electricity that can be sold, details of transmission and distribution systems owned by other individuals or organizations used in electricity supply),
(c) Financing arrangements (estimated financing arrangement of the project, financial status of project investors, commitments of financial institutions directly participating in the project and the obligations of investors and the percentage of share-capital and debt),
(d) Map of distribution area (geographic description of that area, existing distribution system, new distribution system to be constructed),
(e) Level of distribution voltage and quality of construction,
(f) the number and type of customers to be served,
(g) Details related to the purchase and sale of electricity (if any, the agreement or letter of intent related to the purchase and sale of electricity to be distributed and any other related documents should also be attached),
(f) Other necessary things.
