Section 6
Electronic records must be preserved
If it is mentioned in the prevailing law that any information, document or record must be preserved for a certain period, if such information, document or record is preserved in electronic form in such a way that the following conditions are fulfilled, then such information, document or record will be legally recognized. Will do :-
(a) if kept in an accessible condition for use on subsequent occasions,
(b) preserved in a demonstrable form so as to reproduce it correctly as originally created and transmitted, received or collected,
(c) If the details of the origin, destination and the date and time of transmission or receipt are available to be identified. But the provisions of this section shall not apply in relation to any information generated automatically for the purpose of transmitting or receiving a record.
