(1) The institute will have a scholarly committee consisting of five members including a chairman nominated by the Government of Nepal from among scholars and saints who are famous in the religious, social and educational fields.
(2) The staff appointed by the President of the Institute shall be the Secretary of the Academic Committee.
(3) The President of the Institute shall participate in the meeting of the Academic Committee.
(4) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (1) shall be four years. They can be re-nominated after the term ends. However, if the Government of Nepal deems it appropriate, they may nominate another person in their place without completing their term of office.
(5) The members of the scholarly committee shall receive remuneration or allowance as prescribed for participating in the meeting of the said committee.
