: (1) The following details should be included in the trade union's statute:-
(a) Name and address of the trade union,
(b) the purpose of establishing a trade union,
(c) The method of formation of the working committee and the period of work shall be four years at most,
(d) General membership, number of officers and their election process,
(e) Provision that only Nepali citizen workers who have served for one year without interruption can be elected as office bearers,
(f) Provisions relating to trade union fund and audit thereof,
(g) Arrangements regarding examination and inspection of accounts of trade unions,
(h) Provision to bring no-confidence motion against office bearers,
(i) Provisions regarding the work, duties, rights and meetings of the general meeting and working committee of the trade union,
(j) Trade union statute amendment process,
(k) Provisions relating to dissolution of trade unions,
(l) Provisions related to the assets and liabilities of the trade union after the dissolution of the trade union.
(2) If any kind of amendment is made in the constitution of the trade union, within thirty-five days of such amendment, the relevant trade unions shall attach a copy of such amendment and inform the registrar of the matter and also seek approval from the registrar.
