5. Duties, Duties and Powers of the Head of Department:
In addition to the duties, duties and powers mentioned in Section 12 of the Act, other duties, duties and powers of the Head of Department shall be as follows:-
(a) He is in office To take or cause to take the progress report of the department or subordinate body, project or office, to review it or to have it reviewed and to take initiative to solve the problems found during such review or to have it done, to conduct on-site inspection or to give necessary instructions in this regard,
(B) If information is received from any source that any useful, exemplary, creative, exploratory or investigative work is being done by the department or subordinate agency, project or office in which he is in charge, or if it appears from inspection, to encourage the relevant officials as necessary. or cause,
(c) If information is received from any source that any action is being taken against the prevailing law, policy, program or decision of the Government of Nepal by the department or subordinate body in which he/she is in charge or if such action is observed through inspection. To prevent it from happening or to bring it to the attention of the relevant officials,
(d) To coordinate between the subordinate agencies.
