Section 63
Miscellaneous Offenses
(1) Any of the following acts shall be deemed to have been committed as a misdemeanor:-
(a) If a person in command of a post or march mistreats, beats or in any other way any person under his command or trespasses or trespasses in a public place, a complaint for compensation for damage caused by trespassing shall be submitted to the concerned authority. If not submitted or compensated,
(b) In case of disturbing the sanctity of a religious place or in any other way knowingly insulting the religion of someone or hurting religious sentiments,
(c) If a soldier of a lower rank than a Jamdar, when not on duty, walks around the camp or cantonment or while going to the city market, without the order of the concerned officer, carrying arms or ammunition,
(d) If any person is accepted or allowed to be bribed directly or indirectly to obtain any benefit by giving him the confidence to get appointment or promotion, leave or any other benefits in the Nepali Army,
(e) If you cause any harm to the body or property of a citizen or resident of the country where you are serving.
(2) Apart from what is written in sub-section (1), if a soldier of billadar or lower rank does any other prohibited act while engaged in military action, except what is written in this paragraph, it will be considered as a misdemeanor.
