(1) If the polling officer appointed at the polling station is convinced that any abnormal situation has arisen or if the electronic equipment cannot be operated for any reason or due to nuisance or natural calamity or any other reason beyond his control, the polling officer appointed at that polling station shall suspend the voting work of that polling station immediately. can and will publish the notice at the same place.
(2) The polling officer shall immediately give notice of postponement of the polling according to sub-section (1) to the election officer.
(3) According to sub-section (1), the Election Officer shall immediately inform the Commission about the postponement of voting.
(4) After receiving the information as per sub-section (3), unless otherwise instructed by the Commission, the election officer shall publish a notice specifying the date and time of re-voting and conduct re-voting.
