4. Registration of Pesticides

(1) According to rule 3, if any application is received for registration of pesticides, the office shall carry out the necessary investigation and register the applicant without any conditions or with conditions, taking into account the effects of such pesticides on humans or animals and on the environment, in the format prescribed by the committee. Pesticide registration certificate should be given.

(2) The period of validity of pesticide registration certificate given as per sub-rule (1) will be five years.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the office shall not register the pesticide until the information requested from the applicants regarding the pesticide registration is received.
