(1) At least once a year, the local child rights committee shall receive information about the status of children placed in alternative care at the local level.
(2) If it is found that the children are not properly cared for based on the information obtained under sub-rule (1), the local child rights committee may alert the person or organization providing alternative care or apply to the relevant agency for action according to the law or apply to the relevant court for change of guardianship.
