Rule 21
Copy of Personal Incident Registration Certificate
: (1) According to Section 22 of the Act, the interested person who wants to get a copy of the Personal Incident Registration Certificate shall submit a report to the office of the local chief executive in the format as per schedule-25.
(2)/If an application is received according to sub-rule (1), the local registrar shall take the form as per Schedule-3 and give a copy of such certificate to the local registrar's office after filing the personal event registration record in the Kefiat Mahal of the registration book.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), if it is proved that the personal incident registration certificate has been lost due to circumstances beyond control, a copy of such certificate will be given by charging half of the fee as per sub-rule (2).
(4) In the event that the record of personal incident registration related to the application made under sub-rule (1) is not found or proved to be destroyed, the local registrar may issue a copy of the personal incident registration certificate for the reason that the record is not found or destroyed after completing the following procedure:-
(a) If the notification form or certificate of personal incident registration is in any other body, to create a record on the basis of that form,
(b) If the notification form, certificate or any other evidence is not received according to clause (a), a new notification form for personal incident registration will be filled and the indicator will be identified in that notification form and a record will be created based on that.
(5) According to sub-rule (4), if additional confirmation is required when giving a copy of the personal incident registration certificate, the local registrar may inquire with such a person himself and get at least five Nepali citizens, including the people's representatives of the local ward, to conduct a search. (6) If a duplicate certificate is found after giving a copy of the personal incident registration certificate in accordance with this rule, the copy of the certificate so given will automatically remain.
