(1) Shiksha Jyoti Medal may be awarded to any Nepali or foreign citizen who has made a special contribution in the field of education, environmental protection or information technology within Nepal or internationally.
(2) The design, shape and plaque of the medal as per sub-rule (1) shall be as mentioned in Appendix Three Schedule-5.
