Rule 56
Labor Audit to be done
(1) The establishment may conduct a labor audit through its own managerial level workers or any other person or organization related to the labor sector within the month of each year regarding whether the work has been carried out in accordance with the Act and this regulation. (2) The establishment shall keep the report of the labor audit conducted as per sub-rule (1) in the format as per Schedule-10. Such report shall be provided to the inspector inspecting the establishment in accordance with section 98 of the Act.
(3) If the person conducting the labor audit finds that the audit report contains incorrect information, the labor office may fine the person giving such incorrect information and the manager of the establishment immediately in accordance with clause (b) of subsection (2) of section 163 of the Act.
(4) The establishment shall also provide a copy of the labor audit report made in accordance with the Act and these regulations to the Labor Relations Committee and the following regulatory bodies related to the establishment:-
(a) Banks and financial institutions in Nepal Rastra Bank,
(b) Insurance Company to Insurance Committee,
(c) Non-Governmental Organizations in the concerned District Administration Office,
(d) In the body that grants permission for establishment or operation by other establishments.
