Rule 27
<br> which can be investigated by the labor office
An employee assigned to inspect whether or not a child is employed in an establishment employing a child contrary to the law, whether or not arrangements have been made for the health and safety of the employed child and whether or not other arrangements have been made in accordance with the Act or this regulation shall fulfill their duties accordingly. In relation to non-compliance, the labor office may depute another employee to conduct an on-site inspection.
(2) Regarding whether the inspection report submitted in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Act is true or not, the labor office shall examine the records in the office and the report of the field inspection conducted in accordance with sub-rule (1).
(3) During the investigation according to sub-rule (1) or (2), if it is found that the employee assigned to inspect has not performed his duties honestly or the report given by him is not true, he will be subject to departmental action.
