Rule 61
Labor Relations Committee
: (1) Every establishment employing ten or more workers shall have a Labor Relations Committee as follows:-
(a) The chief manager of the establishment or a person designated by him – the coordinator,
(b) An authorized person of the managerial level designated by the chief manager of the establishment - Member, (c) Four workers including one woman on behalf of the trade union of the establishment - member, (d) Head of Administration Branch of the Foundation - Member-Secretary.
(2) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule (1), there will be two additional members on behalf of the manager and the workers in establishments employing more than three hundred workers.
(3) The selection of members as per clause (c) of sub-rule (1) shall be done by the executive committee of the official trade union of the establishment. If there is no official trade union in the establishment, the workers chosen by the workers working in the establishment will be represented in the committee (4) The term of office of the member under clause (b) of sub-rule (1) shall be for the period specified by the coordinator and the term of office of the member under clause (c) shall be two years from the date of election to the committee.
(5) The account book of the Labor Relations Committee shall be operated by the joint signature of one representative designated by the workers and the manager on their behalf.
