(1) This Act shall be called “Arms and Weapons Act, 2019”.

(2) This Act shall apply throughout Nepal.

However, according to the order of the Government of Nepal or while performing his duties as a government employee, making, repairing, converting from one form to another, selling, giving for sale, taking away, keeping with him or under his control, To export from Nepal to abroad, to import from abroad to Nepal …….or to Nepal ……. Nothing in this Act shall be applicable for bringing from one district to another within the district.

(3) This Act shall commence from the date specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
