(1) The duration of the certificate issued under rule 8 shall be two years.
(2) A person who wishes to renew a certificate shall submit an application to the Registrar within thirty days of the expiration of the period of such certificate, along with a deposit of three thousand rupees, attaching the audit report and annual progress report of the previous financial year.
(3) A person who is unable to renew the certificate within the period specified in sub-rule (2) may submit an application for the renewal of the certificate within thirty-five days after the expiry of the said period, with an additional fee of twenty-five percent of the renewal fee.
(4) If an application is received in accordance with sub-rule (2) or (3), the registrar shall renew the certificate if he deems it necessary to renew the certificate after conducting the necessary investigation.
(5) If no one renews the certificate even within the period as per sub-rule (3), such certificate shall automatically be cancelled.
