(1) It shall be the duty of the Corporation to carry on the business of insurance subject to this Act and the rules made thereunder. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of sub-section (1), the duties and duties of the Corporation shall be as follows:- (a) To conduct life insurance business, (b) ) Reinsurance, (c) Investing in areas deemed appropriate by the company within Nepal and taking necessary steps to ensure and protect the investment, (d) If the company deems it necessary, to keep under its control any property mortgaged with the company and conduct the operation of such property for the necessary time, (e) Granting loans on the security of movable and immovable property, (f) Borrowing the property of the corporation as collateral, (g) Leasing, selling or disposing of any property of the corporation, (g) Shares of other corporations and Assisting in the issuance of debentures, guaranteeing and underwriting and doing agency business, (i) Investing abroad if the company deems it necessary, (j) Investing in the share capital of other organized companies, (k) Appointing agents and giving them commission, (l) Providing guarantees, (d) Buying and selling shares, stocks, debentures, securities, movable and immovable assets, etc., taking discount commissions and doing brokerage, (d) Doing any kind of related business that is beneficial to the company, (n) Any Doing work directly or indirectly for the benefit of the National Charity, Public Welfare Institute or the Institute and providing guarantees for the same, (i) arranging funds for provident funds, pensions, gratuities and other facilities for the permanent employees of the Institute, and (i) debentures and issue of preference shares,
