(1) Whoever commits the following offense shall be punished as follows:-

(a) Sub-sections (2), (3), (4), (5), ( 6) or (7) shall be punished with ^²imprisonment for three months to three years or fifty thousand rupees to two lakh rupees Penalty,

(b) A person who commits an offense under sub-sections (8), (9), (10), (11), (12) or (13) of section 4 from one month to Imprisonment which may extend to one year or fine which may extend to five hundred rupees to ten thousand rupees or both,

(c)   A person who aids, abets, incites or engages in such act to commit untouchability and discrimination shall be punished with half of the punishment for the principal offender.

Such a person shall be punished twice the punishment mentioned in clause (a) or (b) of sub-section (1). Fifty percent shall be added to the sentence.
