(1) If someone is found to have committed an offense under this Act, the court shall pay compensation up to two lakh rupees from the offender to the victim.

< p>(2) If the offender has caused any physical harm or damage to the victim, the court shall order a reasonable amount to be paid by the offender to the victim for treatment expenses or additional loss or damage based on its nature.

(3) Subsection (1) or (2) If the amount as per (2) cannot be paid immediately by the offender, such amount shall be paid from the victim relief fund in accordance with the prevailing law and the amount thus paid shall be collected from the concerned offender and deposited in the said fund.
