(1) If anyone commits an offense under Section 18, the Executive Director shall impose the following penalty:-
(a) up to one lakh rupees to the offender under clauses (a) and (c) of section 18;
(b) up to seventy-five thousand rupees to those who commit an offense under clause (b) of section 18, and
(c) Up to fifty thousand rupees to those who commit the offense under clause (d) of section 18.
(2) Based on the amount or seriousness of the offense committed by an organization under Section 18, the Center may revoke the accreditation certificate granted to such organization under Section 13.
(3) Before deciding to cancel the fine or the accreditation certificate in accordance with this section, the relevant organization shall be given a reasonable opportunity to submit an explanation.
