To be appointed to the position of Governor, Deputy Governor and Director, a person should be qualified as follows:- (a) a citizen of Nepal, (b) having high moral character, (c) economic, monetary, business, financial, commercial, At least master's degree in management, public administration, statistics, mathematics and law with work experience in the field of economic, monetary, banking, financial or commercial law. A school professor or "A" category executive head of a commercial bank or financial institution or an international association, an executive level position of an organization or a position similar to that or a position higher than that position in terms of dignity should be considered. (d) Not disqualified according to section 21.
