(1) The chairman and other members, except ex-officio members of the committee, shall not continue in their positions in any of the following cases:-

(a) In case of death,

( b) If the term of office expires,

(c) If the resignation submitted before the committee is accepted,

(d) If he/she is absent from the meeting of the committee for eight consecutive times without giving any notice,

(2) If the post of chairman or any member becomes vacant due to the reason as per sub-section (1), another chairman or member may be nominated for the remainder of the term.
