(1) The nomination of the member as per clause (j) of sub-section (2) of section 5 shall be done by the chairman of the board.
(2) The term of office of the members as per sub-section (1) shall be four years. They may be reappointed.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2), any nominated member may be removed from office by the Chairman at any time. But before such removal he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to submit a clarification.
(4) If a member vacates office or resigns from his office as per sub-section (3), another person may be nominated in his place for the remainder of the term.
