: The work, duties and powers of the Assembly shall be as follows:
(a) Approving the policies, plans and programs of the establishment,
(b) Approving the annual budget of the institution,
(c) To approve the rules of the establishment,
(d) Awarding scholarships, titles, certificates, medals and awards to be provided by the institution (e) To award honorary degrees as prescribed,
(f) Guiding and giving necessary instructions to the various bodies of the establishment under his authority,
(g) To give necessary suggestions to the Government of Nepal while formulating the national health and education policy (h) To approve the annual report of the establishment,
(i) To discuss and approve the audit report of the establishment,
(j) Making necessary arrangements for the establishment of educational institutions (k) To do other work as specified.
