(1) If it is mentioned in the purchase contract that a reward should be provided to the builder who completes the work before the specified time during the preparation of the cost estimate and the tender documents, it can be arranged that the builder who completes the work before the specified period can be given a reward.
(2) When determining the amount of the award as per sub-rule (1), it shall be determined on the basis of sub-rule (3) for the number of days before the time specified in the purchase agreement. (3) When determining the rate according to sub-rule (2), if the construction business fails to complete the work within the period specified in the purchase agreement, a rate equal to the amount to be paid to the local body on a daily basis shall be determined.
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these rules, the total amount of the award shall not exceed five percent of the contract amount.
