4. Work, duties and rights of the committee

The work, duties and rights of the committee will be as follows:-

(a) To approve and implement plans and programs related to Buddhism.
(b) Searching, exploring, researching and keeping records of ancient places and objects of social, economic, religious, cultural, archeological or similar historical importance related to Buddhism within Boudhanath area. But in doing such work, the prior approval of the agency that needs to be approved must be obtained.
(c) Contacting and coordinating with foreign governments, national or international associations, organizations or individuals to implement plans and programs related to the development of Boudhanath region.
(D) To approve necessary programs for the development of tourism in places suitable for tourists within Boudhanath area.
(e) Taking into account the importance, dignity, recognition and sensitivity of a particular place within Boudhanath area, to control the activities that should not be done in such places.
(f) Protecting the natural resources within Boudhanath area and maintaining environmental balance.
(g) Setting the necessary standards for houses, monasteries, monasteries, dharamshalas and other construction related works to be built in places included in the World Heritage List within the Boudhanath area.
(h) Arranging arrangements to declare any place of archaeological importance within the Boudhanath area as a protected place.
(i) Establishing coordination between the agencies that conduct the development and construction works conducted by the government, non-government and private sectors within the Boudhnath area.
(J) To show the importance of Boudhanath area, organize meeting, conference, symposium or exhibition at national and international level.
(k) According to this order, to carry out other tasks to fulfill the objectives of the committee.
