2. Definition:

Unless the subject or the context requires otherwise, in this order,-

(a) “Committee” shall mean the Boudhanath Area Development Committee constituted under section 3.
(b) "Buddha Nath area" means the following areas:-

(1) East-Jorpati Ga.V.S. Western border of .
(2) West-Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward no. Border of 7.
(3) North-Jorpati Village Development Committee and South boundary of Kapan Village Development Committee.
(4) South-Bagmati River and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward no. Border of 7.
(c) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee.
(d) "Member" shall mean a member of the committee and the term also refers to the chairman and the member-secretary.
(e) "Executive Director" shall mean the Executive Director appointed as per Section 6.
(f) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this order.
