(1) The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) The compensation of land acquired by the Government of Nepal for the purpose of public roads shall be subject to the Act and these Regulations. Determine and submit recommendations to the Government of Nepal (b) To request the necessary details for the purpose of determining the compensation of any land from the office attached to such land,
(c) For the purpose of determining the compensation for the land, to carry out necessary investigations to determine the prevailing value of such land on the date of acquisition,
(d) If it is necessary to inspect any land to determine the compensation, to have the land inspected by a member of the committee or any other person,
(e) To take other actions necessary to determine the compensation.
