The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To recommend to the Government of Nepal to make necessary improvements in existing policies and laws related to prevention of child labor (b) Advising the Government of Nepal to make necessary arrangements regarding the health, education, safety facilities and professional training of the children working in the establishment,
(c) To take necessary actions to eliminate child labor by enhancing the mutual relationship between the government of Nepal and the manager (d) To identify areas where suitable employment can be arranged for children and recommend them to the Government of Nepal (e) To make arrangements for effective monitoring regarding whether the establishment has made the necessary arrangements for discouraging the employment of children and preventing child labour,
(f) Making necessary plans and determining priorities regarding the use of the Child Labor Prevention Fund,
(G) To form a sub-committee to do any specific work related to child labor prevention and get concrete opinion suggestions.
