4. Work, Duties and Rights of the Committee

The work, duties and rights of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(A) To approve and implement plans and programs related to the development of Pathibhara area.
(b) Contacting and coordinating with foreign governments, national or international organizations, agencies or individuals to implement plans and programs related to the development of Pathibhara region.
(c) For the development of the social, economic, religious and cultural aspects of the Pathibhara region, to explore and investigate the ancient historical, religious, cultural and archaeological and ancient sites and objects of historical importance within that region.
(d) To approve necessary programs for the development of tourism in places suitable for tourism within Pathibhara region.
(e) Taking into account the importance, dignity, recognition and relevance of a particular place within the Pathibhara area, prohibiting and controlling activities that should not be done in such places.
(f) Conducting programs to protect natural resources and maintain environmental balance within the Pathibhara region.
(G) Arranging arrangements for organizing public utilities such as educational institutions, hospitals, bridges, sewers, electricity, telephones, roads within the Pathibhara area, maintaining cleanliness so as not to allow garbage to become dirty, and coordination with the offices of the Government of Nepal, local bodies and non-governmental organizations within the area. Conduct Rakhi programs.
(h) Organizing meetings, conferences, seminars or exhibitions at the national and international level to show the importance of Pathibhara sector.
(i) During the planned development of the Pathibhara area, construction and maintenance should be carried out in an orderly manner.
(j) Establishing coordination between various agencies to conduct development works conducted by the government, non-government, and private sectors within the Pathibhara area.
(k) Declaring sites of archaeological importance within the Pathibhara area as protected sites.
(l) According to this order, to perform other actions to fulfill the objectives of the committee.
