Functions, Duties and Powers of the Committee

4. Tasks, Duties and Powers of the Committee

In addition to the tasks, duties and powers written elsewhere in this order, the tasks, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) Nepal regarding the policy related to human organ transplantation. To make suggestions to the government,
(B) Formulating and implementing the plans and programs of the committee (c) Making arrangements to provide health services in an accessible manner for the rehabilitation of the person who donates and receives human organs,
(D) To take necessary actions related to diagnosis, treatment and prevention to protect human organs from deterioration,
(e) Collaborate and coordinate with various agencies working related to human organ transplantation (f) To prepare and provide the necessary skilled manpower in the field of human organ transplantation and treatment (g) Determining the fees to be charged for the services provided by the committee (h) Determining the number of free and low-cost beds and the rate of such charges,
(i) To make standards regarding the provision of free or low-cost treatment for patients who are considered financially incapable,
(j) Studying and conducting research on human organ transplantation (k) To conduct training related to capacity building of the staff of the committee (l) To recommend to the Ministry to provide special training to the staff involved in the work related to human organ transplantation,
(d) Organizing national and international conferences and seminars on human organ transplantation,
(d) Approving the annual budget of the Committee, ,
(n) Protecting and maintaining the physical property of the committee,
(p) To identify and search for the resources and means required for the operation, improvement and expansion of the services provided by the committee,
(th) Doing other work related to human organ transplantation.
