Section 4
Work, Duties and Rights of the Committee
: The work, duties and rights of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To approve the short-term and long-term plans and annual programs of the committee (b) To approve the annual budget of the Committee,
(c) Intercountry adoption, preparing the necessary policy on matters related to adoption and submitting it to the Ministry,
(d) Investigate and recommend to the Ministry regarding the conditions and procedures for the adoption of Nepali children by foreign nationals as per the 2065.
(e) Intercountry adoption, coordinating among various agencies on adoption issues,
(f) To regularly monitor the activities of children's homes and orphanages,
(g) To collect and preserve information related to adoption, persons who wish to adopt and to exchange such information among themselves,
(h) To organize inter-country adoption, adoption-related work, with the approval of the Ministry, to build and arrange children's homes, orphanages, children's correctional homes and other physical structures as needed, as well as subsidize operating expenses,
(i) To share the process and experience gained in adopting or giving adoptions among the central bodies or institutions related to adoptions, adoptions of other countries,
(j) To provide any information about the status of adopted son or daughter-in-law, if requested by the central body or other related public body related to adoption of other countries,
(k) To protect Nepalese children from adoption, child abuse, exploitation, trafficking or kidnapping, trafficking and any other practices that may harm children, which may occur during adoption or adoption. (l) Recommending to the Ministry to determine the service fee charged for adoption or adoption,
(d) prescribing the procedure necessary for adoption of a son or daughter-in-law,
(d) The record of the children, their birth parents or adoptive children, and the records of the adopting parents are confidentialTo arrange to keep as,
(n) International adoption, researching, studying, researching, conducting research on matters related to adoption,
(p) Conditions and procedures for allowing Nepalese children to adopt foreign citizens for adoption, giving necessary instructions by inspecting and monitoring the listed child welfare homes, orphanages or children's temples according to 2065.
(h) Recommending to the Ministry to remove the children's homes, orphanages or children's temples from the list that do not follow the instructions given under clause (h),
(D) To monitor and conduct from time to time the work performance of adopted children, adoptive families and foreign organizations listed in the Ministry, as well as to present at the international level about the progress and development made by Nepal while absorbing the improvements and developments that are taking place internationally in relation to international adoptions and adopted children, < br> (D) Intercountry adoption, making other necessary arrangements as determined by the ministry related to adoption.
