Rule 21
Funding of the committee

(1) The Committee shall have a separate fund and such fund shall contain the following amounts:-
(a) Fees as determined by the consumer committee in accordance with clause (e) of rule 16,
(b) the amount to be received by the Committee under sub-rule (1) of rule 29,
(c) money received from any association, organization or person,
(d) an amount determined by the Council from the proceeds of community forestry,
(e) Amount received from consumption of forest produce,
(f) Amounts to be received for recommending consumption of non-timber forest produce and herbs (g) Funds received from any other source.
(2) If any kind of assistance is received from any association, the information about it should be given to the Council as soon as possible.
(3) The amount deposited as per sub-rule (1) shall be kept in a commercial bank account and shall be jointly signed by the chairman of the steering committee and the treasurer.
