(1) For the purpose of conducting the work of the Institute, the Government of Nepal shall form a Board of Directors with the following members:-
(a) The person appointed by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Representative, Ministry of Home Affairs (R.P. First Class) – Member
(c) Ministry of Representatives, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs (R.P. First Class) – Member
(d) Representative, Ministry of Education and Culture (R.P. First Class) – Member
(e) Director General, Shipping Department - Member (f) Three persons with experience in Guthi-related work nominated by the Government of Nepal from the religious and social sectors of the country - members
(g) Administrator – Member – Secretary
(2) If the executive chairman is appointed in the institute, the secretary of the committee will be done by the employee of the institute appointed by the chairman.
(3) The term of office of the members nominated in accordance with clause (g) of sub-section (1) shall be three years and they may be re-nominated after the expiry of the term of office. However, if the Government of Nepal deems it appropriate, the term of office of a nominated member may not expire and nominate another person in his place.
