3. Formation of the Committee (1) There will be a committee named Rapti Regional Hospital Development Committee for the purpose of improving the medical standards and services of the hospital. The formation will be as follows:-

(a) A person nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the eminent persons available – Chairman
(B) Chairman, District Development Committee, Dang - Member (c) Chief District Officer, District Administration Office, Dang – Member (d) Chief, Tulsipur Municipality – Member
(e) One member from among the local social workers (f) one member from among the medical practitioners (g) One member from among the Medical Officers (h) one member from among the paramedical and nursing staff (i) Hospital Medical Superintendent - Member - Secretary

(3) To be nominated for the post of President, at least a bachelor's degree must be obtained and at least five years of experience in the relevant field.
(4) The nomination of the members under clauses (e), (f), (g) and (h) of sub-section (2) will be done by the ministry on the recommendation of the committee.
(5) In the event that the position of the official under clause (b) and (d) of sub-section (2) is vacant for any reason, the official authorized to perform the duties of such official shall represent him in the meeting of the committee.
(6) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (2) shall be two years.
