(1) In accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act, a managing committee shall be formed to operate, supervise and manage the hospital using all the duties, duties and rights assigned to the hospital:-

(A) A physician nominated by the Government of Nepal from among senior doctors who have at least a master's degree in medicine from a recognized educational institution and have worked in the field of cancer for at least fifteen years or have at least a master's degree in medicine from a recognized educational institution and have at least twenty years of experience in the health field - President

(b) – Member

(c) The Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Population or at least a gazetted first class officer of the ministry designated by him – Member

(d) Finance The secretary of the ministry or at least a gazetted first class officer of the ministry designated by him - member

(e) Chief, Bharatpur Municipality - member

(f) Dalit, tribal and Madheshi from among doctors involved in the field of cancer. Four members nominated by the Government of Nepal including at least two women to be represented - Members

(g) Two members nominated by the committee with one woman being available from among the doctors working in the hospital - Members

(h) Social Two persons nominated by the Government of Nepal including at least one woman from among the distinguished persons working in the field of service - Member

(j) Representative, National Health Research Council - Member

(j) Executive Director - Member - Secretary

(2) The term of office of the nominated member as per sub-section (1) shall be three years. If he does not fulfill his responsibilities or if he lacks efficiency, the Government of Nepal may remove such a member from the membership at any time.

However, he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to present his justification before such removal.

(4) If the committee deems it necessary, it may invite an expert of the related subject to participate in the meeting of the committee as an observer.

(5) Other procedures related to the committee meeting shall be as prescribed.
