(1) There will be an executive committee as follows to assist in the work of the Council:-
(a) Member-Secretary-Convenor
(b) Head of Sports Division of the Ministry - Member
(c) Two members including at least one woman nominated by the Chairman from among the members of the Council (d) two members, including at least one woman, nominated by the Council from among the members of the Council (e) Head of the Administration Division of the Council - Secretary.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall be responsible to the Council.
(3) The term of office of the member under clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) shall be for as long as the member of the Council remains.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), if the member referred to in clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) is continuously absent from three meetings of the committee without notice or is unable to give time or perform an effective role in the work of the committee, the nominating body Or the officer may at any time remove him as a member of the committee and nominate him as a member of the committee from among the other members of the council as per sub-section (1).
(5) In accordance with sub-section (4), he shall be given a reasonable opportunity to submit an explanation before removing him.
