5. Committee meeting procedures

(1) The committee meeting will be held at least four times a year.
(2) The meeting of the committee shall be held on the date, time and place specified by the chairman and the notice of the meeting and the agenda of the meeting shall be given to the members at least three days before the meeting.
(3) If more than fifty percent of the total number of members of the committee are present, the quorum for the meeting of the committee shall be deemed to have been reached.
(4) The meeting of the committee shall be presided over by the chairman and in his absence, a member chosen from among the members present shall preside over the meeting.
(5) In the meeting of the committee, the opinion of the majority will be valid and if the votes are equal, the person presiding will also give the deciding vote.
(6) The committee may invite indigenous experts to participate as observers in the meeting of the committee as required.
(7) The decision of the committee will be verified by the member secretary.
(8) Other procedures related to the meeting of the committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
