(1) The meeting of the committee shall be held at least six times a year.
(2) The meeting of the committee will be held on the date, time and place specified by the chairman.
(3) If the committee deems it necessary, it may invite an expert to the meeting of the committee.
(4) The meeting of the committee will be presided over by the chairman. In his absence, the most senior military officer among the members as per clause (b) and (c) of sub-section (3) of section 29 of the Act will preside over the meeting and if he is also absent, the person chosen by the members of the committee will preside over the meeting.
(5) If more than fifty percent of the total number of members are present, the quorum for the meeting of the committee will be considered.
(6) In the meeting of the committee, the opinion of the majority will be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding over the meeting will give the deciding vote.
(7) The Director shall act as the Secretary of the Committee (8) For participating in the meeting of the committee, the chairman, members and invited experts of the committee will receive the meeting allowance as determined by the committee.
