Rule 19
Meeting of the Committee
: (1) The meeting of the Committee will be called by the Secretary under the direction of the Chairman.
(2) The meeting of the committee shall be held at the date, place and time specified by the chairman as per the requirement. But the period between two meetings should not exceed forty-five days.
(3): The meeting will be chaired by the chairman of the committee, if he is not present, by the vice chairman, and if he is also not present, by a member chosen from among the directors.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), the period between two meetings of the Central Subject Cooperative Association and the National Cooperative Federation may be up to three months.
(5) If the meeting is not convened within the period of sub-rules (2) and (4), the majority of the members may sign a written request to the chairman to convene the meeting and if such a request is received, the chairman shall convene the meeting within seven days.
(6) In the event that a meeting is not called according to sub-rule (5), the majority of the board members can attend and call the meeting of the board of directors.
(7) The meeting called as per sub-rule (6) will be chaired by the director selected from among the directors present.
(8) The decision of the meeting of the committee shall be verified by the person presiding as well as the majority of the directors.
(9) The quorum for the meeting of the committee shall be the majority of the total number of members of the committee.
