(1) At the commencement of these rules, the Nepal Agricultural Service shall be grouped into Agri Extension Group, Horticulture Group, Fisheries Group, Livestock, Poultry and Derivative Development Group, Agronomy Group, Soil Science Group, Veterinary Group and Agri Engineering Group. (2) At the commencement of these rules, the employees working in the following groups of Nepal Agricultural Service have been grouped into the following groups:-

(a) Plant Pathology Group and staff working in the Entomology Group in the Plant Protection Group,
(b) Employees working in the Agri Economics, Marketing and Statistics Group in the Agri Economics and Marketing Group,
(c) Employees working in Food Processing Analysis and Nutrition Group to Food Nutrition and Quality Control Group.
