(1) If there is a request from a foreign state to freeze or confiscate any property in Nepal in accordance with Section 23, the court shall order the relevant agency to freeze or confiscate the property in accordance with the prevailing Nepalese law.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the court is satisfied that the person for whom an order has been issued to confiscate the property of the person concerned has paid the amount due or has suffered imprisonment equivalent to that amount for failure to pay, the court may confiscate the property. I will not order it. However, if there is money obtained by committing a crime or property used to commit a crime, it should be confiscated.
(3) If the value of the property to be confiscated is stated in a currency other than Nepali currency, for the purpose of maintaining the Vigo in accordance with this Act, the value shall be converted into Nepali currency based on the foreign exchange rate determined by the Nepal Rastra Bank on the day when the application is registered in the court in accordance with Section 29.
