If any of the following acts are committed, it will be considered as an offense related to property:-
(a) if the government or public property, the mess, band of the Nepalese army or the property of any soldier or any person under the jurisdiction of this Act is used for private purposes in disgraceful use or misappropriation or theft or if treacherously taken possession of,
(b) knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that an offense under clause (a) has been committed, if he dishonestly takes such property or keeps it with him,
(c) knowingly causing damage to government property in his charge.
