Rule 60
Benefits to workers during transfer

(1) When the workers working in the establishment are transferred from the former workplace to another workplace, the employer shall provide the following facilities:-
(a) Transport charges incurred by the laborer in carrying his goods to the place of transfer,
(b) An amount equal to one month's salary for accommodation management at the place of transfer.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the employer arranges for the transportation expenses of the worker to the place of transfer and the accommodation of such place, no additional expenses for transportation and accommodation shall be paid to such workers.
(3) Daily and traveling expenses shall be provided to the workers to be transferred and their dependent family members as mentioned in the regulations.
(4) When a worker who is to be transferred is transferred and sent outside his permanent place of residence or his place of employment, he shall be given out-station allowance as mentioned in the regulations regarding the service conditions of the worker.
(5) Notwithstanding anything mentioned elsewhere in this rule, the employer is not required to provide additional facilities as per this rule in case the worker requests to be transferred from one workplace to another workplace within the same area where he can easily commute from his residence to the workplace on a daily basis.
