(1) There will be a National Vaccination Advisory Committee to develop, expand and operate the National Vaccination Program and to give necessary opinions to the Committee regarding the need to conduct an immediate vaccination program during natural disasters or epidemics.

(2) The advisory committee as per sub-rule (1) shall have the following members:-

(a) from among public health specialist doctors or senior paediatricians. The person nominated by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Head, Policy, Planning and International Coordination Division, Ministry – Member
(c) Director, Division of Child Health, Department – ​​Member
(d) Director, Division of Epidemiology and Disease Control, Department – ​​Member
(e) Chairman, Nepal Pediatric Society or a representative of the society appointed by him - member
(f) Three members nominated by the Ministry from among epidemiologists, public health experts, health economists and senior paediatricians. (g) Head of Branch, National Vaccination Program, Department – ​​Member – Secretary

(3) If deemed necessary by the Advisory Committee, representatives of national and international associations, organizations or experts related to vaccination may be invited to the meeting of the Advisory Committee. .

(4) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-rule (2) shall be two years.

(5) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (4), if the chairman or any member does not act honestly. Or if he does not fulfill his official duties, the ministry can remove him as chairman or member at any time. However, before being removed from the position of chairman or member, he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to submit an explanation.
