Rule 79
Certification of cooperative educational activities
: (1) There shall be a certification committee as follows for determining curriculum for cooperative organizations or bodies conducting cooperative education and for certification of such organizations:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry - Chairman (b) President of National Cooperative Federation or his designated representative - Member (c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education - Member (d) Joint Secretary, National Planning Commission - Member (e) Joint Secretary, Ministry - Member (f) ) Registrar, Cooperative Department - Member (g) City Professor, Tribhuvan University, concerned Central Education Department - Member (h) _ One person appointed by the Ministry from among cooperative experts - Member (i) Principal, _ Cooperative Training and Research Center - Member-Secretary (2) ) The committee according to sub-rule (1) may invite subject experts in the meeting as per the need.
(3) The work, duties and rights of the committee under sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) prescribing basic institutional determinants (specifications) of cooperative training institutions or bodies,
(b) Determine the minimum determinants including course, duration, qualification of resource person according to the trainee group of the educational and training programs conducted by the cooperative training institutions or agencies,
(c) verifying the training activities conducted by cooperative organizations or bodies that fulfill the criteria under clauses (a) and (b),
(d) Developing and recommending curriculum for inclusion of cooperative education at the school and university level, (e) Inspecting and supporting cooperative educational and training activities conducted by various organizations or agencies,
(f) Co-operative Education: To guide _co-operative_organizations for upgradation of training activities,
(G. Doing other tasks related to certification of cooperative education and training work.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (3), verification shall not be required in the case of initial cooperative member-education programs conducted by cooperative organizations or agencies.
(5) _ The verification committee according to sub-rule (1) may make its own procedures.
