Section 44
Consent
: (1) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this paragraph, the victim and the offender may reach an agreement regarding compensation for any offense.
(2) If the agreement according to sub-section (1) is found to be appropriate, the court may order the compensation according to such agreement.
