(1) The commission may appoint or appoint an assistant registration officer as needed in each village development committee and ward of the municipality to collect and update the voter list and do all other necessary work in that regard.
(2) The office of the Assistant Name Registration Officer will be in the respective ward office of the concerned village development committee or municipality. But in case there is no ward office of a municipality, the office of the assistant name registration officer will be in the municipal office itself.
